1. When can I apply for a Gaiyo Card?
You do not need to actively apply for the card yourself. As soon as your employer submits your details to Gaiyo and they have been processed, the application process will begin.
2. How will I be informed?
You will receive an activation email from Gaiyo requesting you to activate your Gaiyo Account.
3. How do I activate my Gaiyo Account?
- Click on the link in the activation email and log in to the Gaiyo Portal (mijn.gaiyo.com).
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
- This agreement immediately puts in motion the application for your Gaiyo Card.
4. When will I receive my Gaiyo Card?
- After activation and acceptance, you will usually receive your card within 5 business days.
- Please note that delivery via PostNL can sometimes be delayed.
- In the meantime, you can travel immediately with e-tickets via the Gaiyo App (under Tickets & Reservations).
5. Where will the card be sent?
The Gaiyo Card will be sent to the address your employer has registered with Gaiyo. If you are unsure, please check with your HR department.
In short: your Gaiyo Card application will start automatically as soon as you have activated your account and agreed to the terms and conditions. You will then usually receive the card within 5 working days.
